At Crescendo Music Studio, we offer more than private music lessons. We also host group programs that explore writing, science, movement, and creative activities in a fun, supportive setting.
Sessions run during the school year and summer in easy-to-manage blocks. Families from Woodland, Davis, Dixon, Winters, West Sacramento, and across Yolo County join us for convenient after-school and weekend options. Each class blends clear instruction with hands-on time so students leave with something they’ve created, practiced, or discovered.
Language Arts: Kinder-12th GradeMrs. Callaway/Sra. Callaway
Mrs. Callaway is a credentialed teacher with a BCLAD. She attended 2 years at Latin American Bible Institute when the majority of instruction was in Spanish. She homeschooled her two daughters from Kindergarten through High School. When her daughters went to college, she went with them to continue her education. Ultimately, Mrs. Callaway earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Music and Spanish. In addition, Mrs. Callaway has a Master’s in Education and Curriculum Development. Her teaching experience includes tutoring at Butte College Learning Center and Shalimar Learning Center in Santa Ana, California. She has taught in both public and private schools. She currently teaches Spanish at Woodland Christian School, private music lessons at Crescendo Music Studio, and small groups for homeschoolers at Crescendo Music Studio.

Ms. Alyssa/Srta. Alyssa
Ms. Alyssa is a certified paraeducator. She has over 10 years of experience working with students both as a private tutor and in the classroom. Her experience includes working with English language learners and special needs students. She is dedicated to helping learners build confidence, strengthen their skills, and achieve their academic goals. Ms. Alyssa tailors each session to the student’s unique learning style, creating a supportive environment where they can ask questions, grow, and succeed.
