Alex has been teaching students of all ages since for 4 years. She first learned about music in the 5th grade at Gibson Elementary School. Besides live music events, some of Alex’s favorite things are thrifting and her cats.

Alex has been teaching students of all ages since 2018. Alex began performing as a professional musician in 2008. He has had the opportunity to perform with numerous artists including The Alex Jenkins Quartet, The Midnight Dip, and Trilism. When Alex is not playing or teaching music, he enjoys reading comic books and fantasy novels, and visiting local businesses.

carrie joy clark
guitar and piano
Carrie is a gifted musician and teacher. In addition to teaching at Crescendo Music Studio, she also teaches band at a local elementary school. On the weekends, when she is not teaching or spending time with her family, she plays piano for various religious organizations. Carrie primarily teaches guitar and piano, but can also teach any band instrument at a beginning level.

dean mora

Dean is an accomplished musician, composer, actor, and devoted father. His experience is deep and wide. He has done everything from being the organist at the Silent Movie Theatre in Hollywood, to support local productions at the Woodland Opera House. He has also worked as staff organist at Disney’s El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. In addition to his passion for music, Dean enjoys classic cars.

Gino began his journey with music when he was 11 years old. He has been teaching students of all ages since 2016. In addition to playing, teaching, and writing music, he also enjoys movies, comics, soccer, video games, and traveling.

Macey teaches students of all ages since 2016. In addition to individual lessons, she also offers groups from birth through Pre-K. Macey is a Woodland native who started her journey with music at our local schools. Her favorite things besides sharing her passion for music is continuing to learn and raising her children.

sara lofrano
piano and voice
Sara began her music education at Marin School of the Arts. She started teaching piano and voice in 2021. In addition to teaching, she has released music as a solo artist, a featured artist, and an album with her band, Funkschway. Sara teaches multiple genres of music. In her free time, Sara enjoys going to the movies, cooking, going on walks, hand embroidery, going to Disneyland, and spending time with family and friends.

tony romero
drums
Tony is a Woodland native who began playing drums in the 7th grade. He has a general love of music with a passion for recording, composing rhythm pieces, and playing live. He currently plays drums for his church worship team. Tony’s favorite music genre is progressive metal. When he is not working and teaching at the studio, Tony is spending time with his wife and two children.

Don moe – instructor emeritus
drums
Don has been playing drums since he was 10 years old and taught drums for over 25 years. He has played many different genres with multiple groups, including, concert bands, marching bands, jazz bands, and pit orchestras. His favorite thing, besides teaching and playing drums, is traveling with Ollie, the Adventure Dog.
Don retired in April of 2023. He is dearly missed by all of us.
dana wendel – instructor emeritus
bass, drums, guitar, piano, ukulele, and music production
Dana started teaching in 2021 after graduating from a music studies program at a college in upstate New York. Dana taught students of all ages. In addition to music, Dana enjoys basketball, film and television, and visual arts.
As of January 2025, Dana moved on in his musical journey. We wish him all the best and can’t wait to see where his path leads.
Jia-min rosendale – relocated
piano, and voice
Jia-Min has been playing piano since she was 7, and teaching music since 2012. She has completed the Advanced Level of the Music Teachers of California (MTCA) theory evaluation program, and is currently working on becoming a certified member of MTCA. In her “spare time,” Jia-Min enjoys trying new places to eat, sleeping, and traveling.
Jia-Min is currently teaching at another location.
