Alex has been teaching students of all ages for 4 years. She first learned about music in the 5th grade at Gibson Elementary School. Besides live music events, some of Alex’s favorite things are thrifting and her cats.

Alex has been teaching since 2018 and performing professionally since 2008. He has performed with The Alex Jenkins Quartet, The Midnight Dip, and Trilism. When not playing or teaching, he enjoys comics, fantasy novels, and visiting local businesses.

Carrie Joy Clark – guitar and piano teacher

Carrie is a gifted musician and teacher. She also teaches band at a local elementary school and plays piano for various religious organizations. She primarily teaches guitar and piano and can teach any band instrument at a beginning level.

Dean Mora

Piano

Dean is an accomplished musician, composer, and actor. He has served as organist at the Silent Movie Theatre and Disney’s El Capitan Theatre and supports productions at the Woodland Opera House. He enjoys classic cars.

Gino began music at age 11 and has taught since 2016. He enjoys movies, comics, soccer, video games, traveling, and writing music.

Sara began at Marin School of the Arts and started teaching in 2021. She releases music as a solo artist, featured artist, and with her band Funkschway. She enjoys movies, cooking, walks, hand embroidery, Disneyland, and time with family and friends.

Tony is a Woodland native who began playing drums in 7th grade. He enjoys recording, composing rhythm pieces, and playing live, and currently drums for his church worship team. Se habla español.

Don Moe – drums (instructor emeritus)

Don has played drums since age 10 and taught for over 25 years across concert, marching, jazz bands, and pit orchestras. He loves traveling with Ollie, the Adventure Dog. Don retired in April 2023.

Dana started teaching in 2021 after graduating from a music studies program in upstate New York. Interests include basketball, film/TV, and visual arts. As of January 2025, Dana moved on in their musical journey—we wish them the very best.
